OLX wanted two things. To become a thought leader in the circular economy and to make the reloved (second-hand) movement waaaay more popular than it is now. How? That was up to us.
Today, most people choose reloved for financial reasons only. But what if we could show the world how cool, how good for the planet and how fun choosing reloved is?
New Alchemists was given a big task: use your creative skills to increase reloved's popularity and tell the world about it! And while you're at it, increase OLX's position as a thought leader on this topic.
We established the platform Rethink Things. We will tell stories, make mini documentaries, newsletters, photo reports, et cetera, et cetera, that will boost reloved’s reputation. We’re currently in the midst of setting up the website, social media accounts and other channels with which we’ll spread the word. We’re interviewing, filming, designing, writing, et cetera.
