Authentic, green-wash free communication highlighting your sustainability efforts
You’re doing great work. Now it’s time to tell the world. Authentic and honest communication is essential for building trust and getting people on board with your mission. But let’s face it, it’s also scary. The public is increasingly critical, new rules and regulations are introduced often, and the legislator actually started enforcing these. Moreover, you don’t want to write another dusty impact report that no one reads.
So, hitting the right tone, including the right topics, making the right claims and including the right disclaimers is critical. But also, choosing the right form (another big, boring report full of jargon anyone?) and channels to share your stories, is an important part of your sustainability communication.
At New Alchemists, we turn your impact into clear, compelling, and creative stories. No fluff, no false or exaggerated sustainability claims. Just honest, evidence-based narratives that people actually want to read, watch and share.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all models. They never réally fit.
So our projects are always tailor-made. Here’s a step-by-step guide of what the project could look like.
Pre-trajectory
Oftentimes, before we start creating stories, we’re already involved in our client’s sustainability journey. The stories we create follow from this. But this isn’t a prerequisite.
Creative kick-off
We organize a workshop that make the creative juices flow. In this session, we map key messages, audiences, formats and channels that fit your goals.
Concept creation
We create a few concepts for your stories, all rooted in the facts and values you stand for. Preferably, we do this in co-creation with your own creative team, if they are available.
Feedback loops
Our concepts are discussed with important internal stakeholders.
Launch and tracking
Your story is launched into the world. We track how it’s received so lessons learnt can be used for future communication.
We were involved in developing both SUITSUIT’s and Joolz first impact report. But the project our creative skills were most expressed, is the thought leadership project we did for OLX.
We developed a storytelling platform called Rethink Things (it’s work in progress, so if it looks unfinished, it’s because it is). We designed and developed the website, are writing countless compelling stories, create engaging social media content in all kinds of shapes, create newsletters, and more. We will even dance on TikTok if the client asks us to (which we hope they won’t).
Let's have a low-key get-to-know-each-other coffee or call. If you're in The Netherlands we're happy to drop by. Leave your details and we'll get in touch, or send us an email directly.
