Being happy above all else
Driving meaningful, positive impact makes us happy. Living and working intentionally does so too. If we don't love it, we don't do it, no matter the missed revenues.
Freedom is a great good
We value our freedom. We choose our own working hours and days and we don't work our asses off to prove something: we want to have enough time besides work to do other things we love. Like coaching spinning classes, raising kids, writing a book and vacationing.
Senior from day one
If you're senior, you're senior. But if you're junior, you're not a bit less valuable. You meet the client, you do the work, you get the credits. Even if the client is a big fish. We're always by your side to teach you everything we know.
Range, not repetition
B Corp, carbon accounting, strategy, storytelling, workshops. Most people here run two or three tracks at once. You don't have to do everything, but you can if you want to. Without a fixed job description, you're free to learn on-the-job, with our support.
Double the colleagues
The New Alchemists are your colleagues, but because we have such long-lasting relationships, the people working for our clients also feel like our colleagues.
Getting together
We're social animals and believe in the power of a team. Ideas get better when you can share them. Helping each other out and having a workplace with others is when we work best.
Roles we're hiring for
Senior sustainability consultant
You lead client engagement end-to-end: strategy and the implementation that follows. You don't have to have all the skills — you can always deploy other Alchemists — but it would be great if you're expert in any of the following: GHG accounting, LCA's, B Corp trajectories, human rights due diligence, supply chain improvements, impact communication, impact purpose, workshops, regulation, …
Junior sustainability consultant
You need a brilliant set of brains, some background knowledge of sustainability, and an enormous drive to learn from us. We'll take you by the hand and teach you what we know.
